A Messenger for Emotional Health.

Real life.Real emotional health.
Shun's approach is rooted in his own life story of emotional challenges and the benefits gained from knowing his life purpose. His strategies are shaped by service as an educational leader, behavioral interventionist, specialist, coach, youth development professional, and Texas certified Special Education EC-12 teacher with a Master of Arts in Psychology.
Applying his love for writing, joy for speaking, and musical talents, he creates entertaining, energized, thought-shifting presentations that equip people to overcome challenging behaviors, build healthy relationships, and navigate daily social and emotional struggles.
“I believe our youth has what it takes to overcome anything; they only need someone to show them they have it.”
For more than 15 years, Shun has worked with youth across multiple states around emotional and behavioral challenges. His work helps young people recognize what is already inside them and helps the adults around them respond with clarity, confidence, and practical strategy.

Be different.Make a difference.

The words on Shun's original Board of Contribution were written by actual students during social skills lessons and behavior conferencing meetings. Over a semester, those words became proof of what can happen when young people recognize their own strength and learn to contribute that strength to someone else.
The board was not only for the student who wrote on it. It was also for the young person who would read it later. The messages became reminders of faith, respect, courage, gratitude, honesty, perseverance, and the power of choosing to contribute something positive.
For Shun, emotional health happens from the inside out. When youth recognize and embrace what makes them different, they can begin to discipline how they express feelings, strengthen relationships, make healthier choices, and use who they are to make a difference for someone else.
